There is direct access to 3 large, shallow beaches (making them family friendly) and several coves from the park all within a few minutes walk.

The Scenary around the Park is stunning, with access to headland and coastal walking and fantastic views to Snowdonia National Park. If you're lucky you can also spot dolphins and seals swimming just off shore.

If you want to get out and about and enjoy the welsh countryside there is plenty to do in the surrounding area.

Hafan Y Mor is an ideal base to explore the Llyn Peninsula and Snowdonia and is only a short drive from Anglesey. There are many fantastic beaches close by such as Abersoch, Black Rock Sands at Porthmadog, Whistling Sands and Harlech Beach. You are spoilt for choice if you enjoy castles and there are also two steam railways to take you back in time and enjoy the views. Close by Caernarfon has a indoor soft play area and also the very popular crazy climb/indoor rock climbing for all ages.

For those who want to leave the car behind, buses go direct from the front entrance and the train station is just outside of the park a short walk away.

For the golfers among you there are many fantastic courses close by such as Pwllheli, Porthmadog and Abersoch as well as the more challenging Royal St Davids and Nefyn.
